I have eaten Amicis several times, but this was my first dine in experience. I LOVE their food. It's always fresh, hot, and delicious. The meatballs are huge! I could only eat one, so I'm having the rest for dinner. My salad was super fresh and the croutons were to die for. I wanted to ask for more but didn't want to seem crazy lol. The service was great too. See you again soon!

I've been going to Amici's since I was eight that's almost ten years now. The food has always been superb. They cook the pizza and subs in a brick oven giving it a distinctly unique taste. I've been to New York and had pizza there and so far Amici's pizza is the only comparable thing I've had in Virginia. The service has always been great consistently for ten years. The atmosphere is good for a pizza place, small and enjoyable. If your on the lookout for hidden gems in the 757 then you have to try Amici's. I recommend the margherita pizza and mozzarella sticks.

I didn't expect to go here for lunch. It's true what they say about don't judge a book by its cover. The outside wasn't appealing and really didn't know it was a restaurant on the outside. But it was a nice pizza joint. The food was really good. Not the best mozzarella sticks but better than most. The pizza was really great. I loved the sauce and how the pepperoni was really big and the sausage was really thick. I got green peppers but they didn't put much on there for a $1.00. My wife looked the Shrimp Scampi. The table was still sticky but it made up for the food, and service. The waitress was really nice also and delivered everything just right. The atmosphere was really cool and unique. I loved it. They just need to work on the outside and they would be on point.

Food and service was super as always. I was disappointed that their veal dish had been dropped from the menu. Our visit was on a Saturday night after the dinner rush. We were returning home from an anniversary party in Wake Forest NC so it was easy to reroute to downtown Suffolk on the way home to Norfolk. If you like carrot cake you must try Amici’s. It is very yummy and one slice is enough for 3.

Food was great but the service experience was subpar. Asked for a menu prior to sitting down and was given the Express Lunch Menu and the Regular Menu. Only to find out after we were seated that they only do subs on the weekends for the express lunch. Waitress had an attitude and was extremely quiet. I had to ask her to repeat herself numerous times. Food was good. Wish I could have gotten pasta. But the pizza was good. Wish they had fountain drinks instead of solely bottles.

We actually decided last minute to show up after celebrating my one of my granddaughter's 2nd birthdays (8 adults and 5 under 8 years old) The ENTIRE staff was super friendly and had us seated on what to me appeared to be a very busy Saturday night. Misty was our SERVICE PROFESSIONAL, and I mean that just as written, but even though we weren't her only table Misty and the ENTIRE staff made us feel as if we were guest in their homes. Drinks never were empty and even though the Manicotti had to be substituted with Chicken Alfredo (which my wife said was delicious) . I believe I speak for ALL of us.. It was an amazing evening that we will remember and share for the rest of our lives. Thank you Misty and staff for such a memorable time!

It's one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Suffolk! The hot queso appetizer is to die for Service is top-notch! Honestly, anything you get there will be delicious.

A friend and I stopped by this place for an early dinner. The place was packed so we decided to order at the bar. Service was rather quick even with it being a full house. The calamari was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The meatballs were a little crumbly but flavored nicely. The chicken parmessan was also very good. Give this place a try if you're in the neighborhood.
